Heroes In Training Reading Group

Roald Dahl once said, “If you are going to get anywhere in life, you have to read a lot of books.”

Though I came across this quote relatively recently, I have long known the truth of it. I was fortunate to be raised by a mom who absolutely loved books. She taught my siblings and I to appreciate the value of a good book from a young age. A well-written book is a world unto itself, that reflects our own back at us in unique ways. Books make us question the way the world works, as well as our own place in it. Books show us how we should and shouldn’t be. They help us succeed in life, by showing us the examples of people who’ve come before us.

This early love of books is what made me decide to become a writer. It also made me realize that if I wanted to make the world a better place, a great way to do that would be by sharing some of the wisdom that great books have to offer.

My goal here is to provide you with the resources you need to become a better person. Success is possible in every area, provided you are willing to learn and grow. And there is no better way to learn and grown than by reading good books. So, I would like to formally invite you to join the Heroes In Training Reading Group. Once you sign up, I will send you a new book review every single week. Books I review will range in topic from historical fiction, to health and fitness, to action thrillers, to personal development and finance. What each title will have in common, though, is that each will offer something worthwhile to help you become a better person and lead a better life.

If you think your reading life needs a bit of an upgrade, here are a few resources you can check out. These resources are completely free to download and check out for yourself.
